One Day Left in Clarion Magazine’s 7th Anniversary Subscription Sale
That's right, February 2006 marks seven years in publication for Clarion
Magazine. We head into our eighth year with great expectations, not
least because of the imminent pre-beta releases of C7 and Clarion.NET.
To celebrate, we're offering big savings on Clarion Magazine
subscriptions. You can get a new one year subscription for $99 (save
$50) - that includes all the back issues. Renew your current
subscription for one year for just $79. Two year new subscriptions are
$169 (save $60), two year renewals are $149.

Encrypting Data With Number Base Conversion
Most programmers are familiar with base 2 (binary) numbers, base 10
(decimal) and base 16 (hex). But using arbitrary number bases can also
be a useful way to encrypt data for transmission by phone or other voice
methods. Dermot Herron shows how he applies this technique to transfer
vital information to customers.
