Author ANN: New template: " Smart-Type"

Hi.
I'd like to announce the entry of a new 3rd party template - "Smart-Type".

www.smart-type.com

Smart-Type allows you to add "Auto-Complete" features to your applications.

Most "Auto-complete" templates are designed to make it easier to choose a
value from a lookup file, and to validate it.

Smart-Type is different. It acts on each word in a text box or entry
field - not just the first one, so it's great in situations where the user
is typing a paragraph - eg medical histories. (I wrote it because the staff
in my veterinary clinic don't like spelling long words, but that's another
story ...)

It acts on entry fields and text boxes (even though they don't have an IMM
attribute!). It uses thread safe subclassing, and you can enable more than
one control per window, and have multiple instances of a window. It does
not work on RTF controls (yet) though.

See the web site for details.
Smart-Type costs $49 during the beta period, after which it will rise
significantly.

Cheers!

Dave Beggs
