Jose,

I turned off the mdi child and called the password screen directly. It does
bring up the password screen only with the desktop and its icons showing in
the rest of the screen. Is this the ideal way to bring up an app - that is,
with the desktop showing and the password screen presented on it?

Hi Nelson,

Personally, I think the password screen should come up on top of the frame
of the app it is for. Makes more sense that way. <g>
