Author Forms (Class) problem

Hi..

I have an input form where one of the first entry fields is "invoice
amount"..

Further down is an entry field for "payment amount" which the vast
majority of the time is the same amount as the "invoice amount". To
avoid the constant rekeying.. I have a formula in the "payment field"
Inv:Payment=Inv:InvAmt.

The problem I have is having the "payment field" data (taken from the
previously keyed in "Invoice amount" immediately to show. (It is an
entry field in case I do have to chnage the amount).

It shows up only after I exit the form and then go back in. In the
formula editor
I tried each of the different classes (right now it is set for
"procedure setup" which obviously doesn't work . but I tried the
others also...to no avail...

Can anyone provide me a bit of guidance on where I am going wrong?
Thanks...

Rick
