EZTwain Classic Help!

I have downloaded and tried the EZTwain Classic template to implement
scanner support. The example that came with the template works. But
when I duplicate the code into a program that I wrote it doesn't. I
get no error messages, the application simply closes down? Any help
would be appreciated. BTW I am using Windows 2k with 1gig of memory
and an AMD 2000 processor.
