Serenity systems in Germany made a deal with IBM to take over further
development, support and marketing of OS/2 under the name eCS
(e-com-station). I am running eCS 1.2 on an IBM ThinkPad T23. It does
almost everything I want. There are still a few things I do on 'doze
but that list is getting shorter. (I unplug the network connector when
using 'doze.) As soon as I heard about APL2 for the PC (DOS), I bought
it and kept up with the upgrades. As soon as I had a computer with
enough jam to do a decent job of running OS/2, I bought it and APL2 for
OS/2. My APL2 for OS/2 runs beautifully on eCS 1.2. WS size is
certainly not a problem for me.
