Author Interactive user input in A+

First, I have just been introduced to APL when my numerical analysis
prof. told how easy it is to do matrix operation in APL. So, I wanted
to try it out and have installed A+ in my laptop. I have read the the
first three chapters of the tutorial and have read topics of my
interest in ref. manual.

Now, I want to read some input from the user while running an A+
script. Is there any function to do that?

Also, what is the preferred method for exiting from the script:
sys.exit(0), _exit 0, or $off?

Thanks,
alaska
