What's this about "no longer supported"? It's still in the brand-new
(last month) z/Architecture Principles of Operation.

As I learned recently, it was optional in later versions of S/370,
but seems to be standard by now.

It was, at first, unique to the 4300 series, and only entered the
mainstream around the XA generation.
