hi,
i've been trying unsuccessfully to log in to yahoo from a java
application using an insecure connection
("http://login.yahoo.com/config/login") by mimicking the action of the
login web page javascript, that is hashing the password using md5
algorithm. i transcribed yahoo's md5 implementation from its web page
into java, and it appears to give me different results than java's md5
algorithm (i'm outputting the byte[] array from java's md5 and the
output of yahoo's md5 and their outputs are different). in either case
i would appreciate any help in finding what i'm doing wrong. below is
the code using java's md5 algorithm:
