Hi,

I'm using Eclipse 3.1 and I get a problem when I : right click on my project
in the package explorer-> properties -> J2ME node.

I get the error message : "The current displayed page contains invalid
values". And the page is not displayed. The other pages display correctly.

All my other projects works fine on this page so I guess this is a problem
with this particular project but I cant figure out what's wrong.

Thanks,

Andrew Thompson

Do you just troll the newsgroups waiting for someone to not follow the
usenet rules so you can pounce on them and leave without ever helping?
Maybe they aren't following etiquette but then again you aren't exactly
either since all you do is complain without ever helping. I've seen 3 of
your posts in the last few hours that say nothing but how to use usenet.
Not exactly productive and I would think you would have better things to
do if you aren't actually going to help out. No one else seems to have
a problem with simply posting advice about how to fix a problem. If you
are going to reply then make it worthwhile by providing advice while
also teaching people about usenet etiquette.

First of all, your facts are wrong. Many of Andrew's posts provide the
specific, requested technicl solution.

Second of all, your characterization of his other responses as "troll"ing is
wrong. His suggestions, e.g., not to multi-post, help both the original poster
and the rest of us. If people need to know how to use Usenet effectively,
thank God Andrew is there to help them.

Why don't you skip the ad hominem attack and let him help?

You can always use your killfile. I find that's often the best thing to
do when you dislike someones activity in a newsgroup.

It's odd how many people ignore the "Please" in Andrew's messages.

I notice that Andrew regularly *does* provide help of the sort you
suggest as well as helping people who make the mistake of multi-posting.

Multi-posting causes respondents to waste their time answering questions
that have already been answered in another newsgroup. Most netiquette
guidance is intended to make the newsgroup more productive. For that
reason I am happy for Andrew to do what he does.

For anyone who wonders what multi-posting means ...

Oh yes, the OP with a problem with Eclipse probably got an answer
elsewhere, but if not, Try the Eclipse newsgroup(s)
