I swear I must be sniffing glue or something lately. I went to the Sun Java
Communications page and could not see the Windows platform download for this
API anywhere! They have "generic" platform, but it's version 2 with
limitations. Can anyone else tell me where to download it:

I don't know why but Sun pulled it from the web sites and does not
support it any more. Probably the next best plan is to use RXTX.

Email me off list if you want a copy.

Hi Knute,

I'm not sure what your email is but please send me the Windows version
through email. (just hit reply)

Interesting, I asked one of the Sun developers why it isn't up and he said
it's because it's buggy as hell and they aren't sure how to support it on
recent versions of Windows. (What recent versions of Windows? XP has been
out for ages.) He also says they are swamped with work and too busy to deal
with it right now.

I'm thinking this is another petty Sun vs. Microsoft thing. Funny how Linux
and Solaris are supported.
