I have written one or two simple little applets that require a 'Start' or 'Play' button to be clicked to activate. Irritatingly when the applet starts it displays a hand_cursor and a tool tip (usually 'Click to activate and use this Control') that are not part of my program. Activation then requires two separate mouse clicks - the first seems to re-position the web page and the second sets the applet running. How can I overcome this situation ie eliminate the redundant cursor and activate the applet with just one click?
