I don't use news reader and I go to google site and enter the forum to
read posts. What I noticed is that in the far right area, underneat
the words of the gogle posts are the links related to the topics and
some description below each links interefering with the words of the
google posts.

Is there a way to prevent those links from appearing? How do I solve
this?

Hi sandie,

While I am no guru at this, I see that if I use my browser's Edit
button and
pull down, get the "Select All" option, it highlights all the text
that is "on top of " and
ignores the unwanted "stuff" below. For me, I think that it is
readable after that.

I have Win2k with NT and am using a "less that super large" monitor.

Hope that this helps.

procrastinating:)- Well, long story.

I haven't heard this one. I should try it.

You know? I did that and saw that I could ignore the other stuff but
didn't think of utilizing it that way. It's readable for me too but
it's time to part with IE I guess. May be I will work on that this w
if time permits.

some sites write IE only code, mainly sites to do with banks and
money. I keep them all around for testing. Opera is my main one for
speed, though the latest version has screwed up SSL somehow.

You can write letters to banks saying that you were considering opening
an account with them, but when you found out their site wouldn't work with
your browser, changed your mind, or something along those lines. My bank
account is with TD Canada Trust, and their "EasyWeb" online banking portal
works fine with Firefox.

The only IE-only site I go to even semi-regularly is Windows Update.
