Are you proposing some kind of new open source project or are you trying to
hire developers for paying jobs? Or maybe trying to get people to build this
for you for free?

The last option. Ravi has been multi posting this proposal in every
newsgroup that has the substring "java" in it repeatedly over the last few
months. I told him if he wanted people to work on it for free to start a
SourceForge project so I could take a look at the scope of the project, and
what's been done so far, but he said he did not want to make the code open
source.

So he's looking for suckers then? People who will work long hard hours doing
a sophisticated project for free, while he sells the resulting software for
a handsome profit?

Thanks but no thanks....

He is posting the same stuff to multiple newsgroups for month. When
asked about it, he didn't come forward with an answer which made sense
for me.
