Author Jframe repaint?

Problem: I may have a JFrame, JPanel or a JApplet displayed. When another
windows application displays over part of one of those components and then I
move that component to the foreground. It does not repaint it's self. What
event do I have to capture to do the repaint, of one of those components?

Thanks in Advance...
