I am looking at some JAVA code where there are frequent references to
optionElement.

This is a Struts based application and the code is filling an array
with values to be presented on a JSP page.

Does anyone know where I can find out more information / documentation
on the optionElement method - I am not sure if this is a Struts
specific or JSP specific method.

An optionElement is a part of something being traversed from the
html:options tag (as far as I recall).

Check http://jakarta.apache.org/struts or search a little..Quicksearching
google returns http://www.reumann.net/struts/lesson3/step9.do as an example
:)

Hope this helps!
