10.3.9 Energy Saver bug?

Hi,
I've upgraded to 10.3.9, via Software Update, and now instead of the
machine going fully to sleep after the proscribed Idle time, it just
shuts the monitor off. Energy Saver is configured the same way it was
under 10.3.8. Am I missing something, or is that a known problem?
Thanks....

Try changing the Energy Saver configuration. It that works then change
it back to what you want.

Is there an energy saver pref? If so, where is it and can it be
trashed like in the old days to rid one self of mis-behaving apps.

Not sure if it's a preference per se but:
private/var/db/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.PowerManagement.xml
I know Carbon Copy Cloner won't copy it by default so I assume it's
trashable, though I don't really know this for certain.
