Author simple changes to webpage

Need someone to make a few changes to a website. The homepage is
index.shtml which points to homepage.cgi. When I edit the file I am
not seeing all the text as I do when i actually load the page in a
browser. We don't have time to work on this and just want a few
changes to the page. We are in the Richmond VA area.

And the locale would be relevant because...?

Of course you're not seeing the same contents if it "points" (as you so
graphically and unmistakably defined it) to the CGI. How exactly does it
"point", syntactically or semantically? IOW, what is the actual topography
or flow?

Anyone else ever notice that when someone says they just want "simple"
changes, it's usually like a flashing red light with a klaxxon going off
next to your ear?

I borrow from a classic:

* Calling me with a question --- $10

* Calling me with a stupid question -- $20

* Calling me with a stupid question you can't quite articulate -- $30

* Implying I'm incompetant because I can't interpret your
inarticulate problem description -- $1000+punitive damages
