You mean a decent religions course?
Irrelevant. Only catholics believe in purg. or else they wouldn't
even allow each other to BREED! Nobody else believes in it, it's
a 9th century catholic invention.

The scenario offered doesn't invoke purgatory, so it's irrelevant.
