Learning Perl and Learning Perl Objects, References and Modules are
essential. Both written by Randal Schwartz and Tom Phoenix and published
by O'Reilly. If you're coming from another language you can pick up
Programming Perl first but I'd still start the other two. bookpool.com
has the best prices I've seen (in the US).
