Hello,

I have a login on a Solaris 8 workstation as a "normal" user without
root access. On the workstation, there is no C-Compiler available and
the perl-version installed is 5.00503 (standard that was shipped with
Solaris 8). There is nothing installed from Oracle on the workstation
also no sqlplus. On the network, there is an Oracle 9i database
available and I would like to connect to it via DBI/DBD Oracle.

No my question: Is there a perbuilt version of dbi/dbd oracle that I
could use from my homedirectory? Because of the constraints above, I
have no way to build the modules.
