SugarCRM Soap API problem

Hi.
I've installed the latest version of SugarCRM (the open source
version) and i'm trying to generate a xml file with all the contacts,
by using the SugarCRM soap api. I'm using the get_entry_list soap
function and i'm trying to retrieve the data in groups of 25 records.
I have 2 problems:
1 - It takes to long to retrieve each set of records;
2 - When it reaches 1 minute of execution, a timeout occurs... I tried
changing the timeout definitions that I found, the problem
continues...

Can anyone tell me the best way to retrieve all the data in one of the
SugarCRM modules, by using the SOAP api??
