osComm is a bear to work with if you want to make it look like something
other than the base layout. I suggest you look for a smarty based cart
that is designed for templates.

osCommerce is a great example of how open source software can suck donkey
balls. It's coded sooo poorly, even its "osCommerce gone good" child
projects are terrible (*cough* ZenCart *cough*).
As Spanker pointed out - template-based web stores are by far the best.

I have to admit that there isnt really a good spin off of any oscommerce
Ive seen but one. And it has a pretty neat looking template system, but it
doesnt look like they are releasing this cart yet because their site says
opening soon.
I found it at http://nxlcart.com It doesnt look like oscommerce right off
the bat, but theres a link on bottom that says its osCommerce
