Dear all,
I have a problem with my php script. In the script there is a loop
which deals with calculations only. This loop is very slow wenn we use
the Linux Suse 10.0 system. If we install Windows 2000 professional on
the same computer the script is about 20 times faster.
The hardware is based on 2 x Intel Pentium III - 996 and 512MB RAM.
We have also tried it on other linux servers and we noticed that
basicly the servers with AMD processors were significantly faster even
if the processor speed was more or less the same.
Have somebody already heard about such problems? Any ideas?
I'm really desprated now. I would appreciate if you could give me some
advice.
Thank you in advance.
