I'm trying to post a message here but after several attempts it still
dosn't appear. I've only just registered, is there a delay before
posts become visible?

Posts on Google Groups, like any Usenet web portal, will take some time
to show up. This is why the page will state "Your message will appear
*momentarily*". The delay is pretty short, but I've seen it take over a
minute once.

Specifically:

He's using google groups Rami, and I do believe you need to register with
google to use the service via their interface.

Delays (and/or dropped posts) are part of usenet. Nothing 'weird' about
it. I see your previous post though.

it's funny, though, for him to think he has a proplem posting to
usenet...and to resolve the problem, posts to a usenet group for help.

Thanks everybody, all working this morning though it did take several
hours to appear.
