What do you mean with work inside some PHP code?

Is it like make an animated gif using GD library?

Or just call image using html tag? I think you just call it at html
tag:

<img src="animated.gif">

That is basicly what I want.

This is in the Simple Machine Forum application.

There is an icon named 'on.gif'. I made an animated icon and also named
it 'on.gif' and uploaded it to the server and overwrote the existing
image file.

You can see it NOT WORKING here:

You may have to register to see everything. If you do, use the word
linux in your display name and I will clean up later.

The fishing reel on the left should be spinning if you have not read the
messages. And not spinning if you have.

Thanks for your reply.
