The steps are the same as for UNIX, except that most likely you don't
need to mess around with directory and file permissions.

Only trouble is to setup smarty to work for your web environment, what
most of us do is to make a class to wrap around smarty and use it to
instantiate smarty objects configured to our needs.

There's a couple of interesting articles on the smarty wiki, you might
like to take a look.
