Author fetch() not working in shutdown function

Hi,

I am trying to do:

$smarty->fetch('my.tpl');

in a function that I have registered as a shutdown function but it is
not working. If I change my code so that the fetch is not down in the
shutdown function it works fine. As a shutdown function my script
dies in the fetch() method.

Does anyone know of any reason the fetch wouldn't work in this situation?

Regards,

Abdul-Wahid
