PHP Smarty Templates - Force refresh?

Force refresh?

Hi all,

I have a page that lists a bunch of items, each one with a link to edit
the content of the item. My php script goes and pulls the data out of
the database and displays the values in a form. When the user updates
the contents of a text box, the page reloads and displays the list of
items again.

However, when I click on the link to edit the same item again, the
contents of the text area still show the old data until I manually
refresh the page.

Has anyone fought through a similar situation and found a solution?
