| Hi,
four months ago [1] I asked for a new release of
Mail_Queue (CVS version is OK), Marco said he would
take care of that but it's not happened yet,
and I keep getting inquiring mails.
Can anyone roll out a new release, or make me
temporary lead so I can upload the tarball,
and then get back to my current role?

Uh-oh, the package.xml file in CVS was
updated already, except for the release date.
You removed the changelog :-(
Oh well... the important thing is that we have
a new release out. Thanks for the prompt action.
