kguest and I would consider taking over this package if necessary, with the
short-term goal of getting a release out fixing these two bugs. Long-term,
we're curious as to whether or not this lone version control package in PEAR
should instead become an API wrapper for the version control capabilities
already available in Horde. I've never looked at Horde myself, but some
comments on the original VersionControl_SVN proposal do mention it, as well
as saying there is a precedent for a PEAR package having a Horde
dependency. This API wrapper would likely be targeted specifically for
PEAR2 and effectively deprecate this existing package.
