Thanks Christian
I've created a new Roadmap for next version 1.7.0 [1]
BTW on package home page, as new maintainer, I see :
# Next New Feature release should be: 1.7.0a1, stability alpha
Is alpha the best state to apply ?
# WARNING: the last release of this package used package.xml version
1.0, which is deprecated.
If I keep package xml 1.0 for PEAR 1.3.x users (how much are they ?) I
will see this warning (even if i have both xml 1.0 and 2.0) Perharps a
new request for PEAR website !
I will release a new beta 5 version in next hours now (all stuff are
almost ready). And a new post on PEAR-QA mailing

RC1 and beta would be more suitable in most cases IMHO.

You can safely remove the 1.0 file. According to [1], the adoption rate
of PEAR > 1.4 is currently 99.951585%. Forcing the few 1.3.x users to
upgrade to a current PEAR version is IMHO good.

I'll then choose beta state , just in case I missed something. And of
course because it will let me time to updates the page manual
with your help again , or I hope with Florian (is it ok for you).

I totally agree. After all PEAR_Info 1.7.x will arrive with one year
late ;-)
