Then it has to do with pear 1.5.

It would be really great if you could fix that.=20

Florian, do you accept Laurent as a new lead maintainer?

Christian,

I would like to thank you. Not to ask Florian, to accept me as a new
maintainer, but for another reason I will explain now.

After 1 year, I've work again on PEAR_Info, and finally added REST 1.0
channel support and mirroring.

I will publish a new unofficial release of PEAR_Info 1.7.0 on my
proposal page [1] in next hours. Hope everbody will enjoy the work !!!

But the most pretty, in this adventure, is that I've found another
solution to a problem (PEAR and REST channel) I'm working for, that I
thought it was impossible (while it was easy for me on XML RPC support).

Thanks a lot :o)
Laurent

Hello all,
please go ahead and make Laurent new lead if he volunteers, and feel
free to contact me on any other problems I might help with.

Sorry that I did slack quite a bit, but partly it was for reasons I
won't explain further now due to things that went quite wrong in
communication and stuff.

If I remember correctly the last time I talked to Laurent he had some in
theory great suggestions and code that I couldn't get to work and didn't
receive any feedback after my comments on it, so I didn't do any further
steps.

I'll gladly try to help test the new changes if Laurent is working
towards a new release.

Greetings,
Florian

Hi Florian,

Nice to hear you !
I'm working on new version (beta 5) that will :
1 . fix notice error (notified by Christian) - 100% Done
2. add inactive on Maintainers list Credits page - 100% Done
3. Reorderer the Package list group by channel (something like "pear
list" command) - 50% Done
4. Fix some problem with other channel than PEAR - 0% Done

As soon as this new version (beta 5) will be ready, I'll send you a mail
and publish it on PEAR-QA mailing list

Of course, as many tests as done, as better this new version 1.7.0 will be !

Regards
Laurent
