Nearly perfect for me ----

1 FAILED TESTS:
/Users/bbieber/pear-core/tests/PEAR_Installer/test_install_cfgrole.phpt

Because of "This package.xml requires PEAR version 1.7.0 to parse
properly, we are version 1.7.0RC1" No problems otherwise.

Looks good with PHP 5.2.4 on Mac 10.4.11
