To PEAR-QA team:

How do we handle this situation? The package was accepted but not
released, it's ready to roll out though but the original developer
doesn't have much time to take care of it (not that I have a lot more
time myself.) The kicker is I'm stuck with a PHP4 version for now. It
could easily be converted to PHP5 though to ease assimilation by PEAR.

Guidance?

Thanks,

-Philippe

Hi,

release as alpha, then make changes, and port it to php5 in the next
release.
