Hi,

This is excellent news !

I think the best thing to do is to familizarize yourself with PEAR
Coding Standards (found in the manual) and submit patches via the bug
tracker.

We can than applyt the patches and give you maintainership once there is
code submitted :)

Is that satisfactory for you ?

I guess you all mean make this
http://pear.php.net/bugs/search.php...D=Services_Ebay
empty?

What does mean this api change in term of code change for pear?
Can you present some plan and/or code for a branch or perhaps a package
version 2 ?
Best would be possibly to keep BC the most.

I've no idea about Ebay, I don't use it, even not for ...
my 2 cts

That is exactly what I mean. My company will have all it's auction
come to a halt on June 1st when eBay stops supporting the old API.
Updating to the new API would be my only goal, at first, and it appears
do-able.

Right now I'm working on an internal project, but I will work out a
project plan as soon as I can.

I used to be the a PHP programmer at my company, but for the past 6
months I've been the Ebay guy. We have a good deal of pull with eBay,
and great support from them. I'd be more than happy to use my position
to give back a little.

Take care.

Sounds like a pretty good incentive to work on it :=)

There is basically no point in working on the old api, the new api
should be the only goal, if you can even keep some compatibility it
would be amazing.

Sounds good.
