Can you precise what you mean by "no satisfying answer" ? (just to be clear we
all understand the same thing :)

hehe... now it's not good enough to respond... the response must be
satisfactory ;)

There was a response to a mail by Sebastian Nohn to the Serendipity
mailinglist in another context, which promised, to take Sebastians
trackback implementation into account, when releasing the package. [1]

Since this answer is again 2 ws old, nothing more happened (no
release,...) and the maintainer did not respond on my additional emails,
I think that the package would be orphan in a not so far away future, if
it will ever be released.

Don't get me wrong here, I would have no problem to have this guy
release his package and switch the PEARWeb implementation to this one.
But the past actions (or better non-actions) indicate to me, that it
will be a not very well maintained package at all.

Regards,
Toby

Speaking of which... Is your implementation available somewhere? I
assume it's in pearweb cvs, but is there a pear package? I'd have some
uses for it.
