Hi,

PHP5RC3 is just around the corner, and I still see
old pear packages bundled in the snaps.

I'm a bit worried about Pager, because the
bundled version (2.2.0) is not php5 compatible,
while the following ones are (>2.2.1).

>From what Pierre said to me, it is no longer

required by the webinstaller, so it could be
removed from the bundle. I'm fine with that.
Upgrade it, or remove it, just don't leave the
current version there, please.

I did a quick check, and almost any other bundled
package has a more recent release:

- Archive_Tar
- DB
- Mail
- Net_SMTP
- Net_Socket
- PEAR itself
- PHPUnit
- XML_Parser

How are the packages bundled, is there a script
somewhere, and if so, is it accessible by pear-group
or pear-qa team?

Thanks
