Seems to me that the package is dead indeed, what you could try to do or
the QA team, is to email the author and ask him, also it's similar to
SDG, but it also has JS sorting, and sorting like SDG for browsers that
don't have JS enable (at least from what I read in the desc of that
package)

If no one steps up and emails the author, then I can take that step, so
if anyone does it then please email here and let us/me know :)
