Feedback from bug report system

Hello QA'ers

A user opened a feature request for Console_Getargs (#2428) and I didn't
quite understand what he was asking for. To keep track of everything I
went into the bug system, changed the status to feedback and added a
comment with my understanding of what the user was asking for. I receive
and email version of the bug report as I would expect but I don't see
the original submiters email address in the headers. Are updates to bugs
sent to the original submiter? If not how will they find out that I need
more information? Do I have to email them and let them know to check the
bug report?
