No, this part of the docs was never written (if you send in something, I'll
gladly include that into official docs). There are some notes throughout the
docs [1], there were discussions in the mailing lists, and there are several
custom QuickForm elements that you can use for inspiration.

If you have any specific questions, ask here or on pear-dev.
