Author Question about Net_DNSBL

Hello,

i want to check if a domain is blacklisted at different RHSBL or URIBL.
The PEAR class for SURBL cut off all subdomain parts to check it.
Did anyone know if all domain based blacklist only list the main domain
part? What is with dnsbl.org or uribl.com?

In postfix is an configuration parameter to set the max domain parts.
"The max_rhsbl_subdomain (default 5) parameter controls maximally from
which subdomain to start the lookup, i.e. in the case a.b.c.d.e.com, the
lookup is started at b.c.d.e.com and continues to e.com."

What do you think, could it be useful to add a feature like this?

Regards,
