Author Pear installation problem on Windows

Hi,

I've installed pear using the go-pear on a Windows ME computer. I use the
apache module php5, which has the CGI and the CLI.

Everything worked on the initial pear installation, although there was a
warning about pear not being in my include path (which it is).

I am now trying to use the pear command to load a few other pear packages. I
can't get the pear command to work at all. If I click on the pear.bat file
from windows or if I type pear i get "bad command or file name". I've run
the REG_ENV thing to edit the registry, but for some reason, pear just won't
run.

Thanks..
