Author HTTP_Upload, moveTo question

I'm building a form for a standalone machine, not connected to the internet,
that will allow users to upload a scanned image (pdf format) along with
other information to MySQL. The pdf isn't being stored in MySQL, just the
path. Everything works - except for trying to use the moveTo function in
HTTP_Upload!!!

If I allow the moveTo path to be "C:\php" there are no problems, BUT, if I
try to move the file to folders on my desktop nothing happens. And when I
say nothing, I mean nada, no errors, no signs, no warnings. I've made the
folders world writable (by allowing "Everyone" under WinXP to
read/write/execute) because I thought it was a permissions problem. I have
no idea what
the problem could be.

If you have any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

Kirk
