Where is HTTP_Compress?

| Hi,
on http://www.derickrethans.nl/phpperform/phpgz.html I read about
PEAR::HTTP_Compress and I wanted to try it but I couldn't find it
anywhere on the PEAR homepage. So could anyone tell me please where I
can find it?

Hi Markus,
it does not seem to be part of PEAR anymore. A quick search of the mailing
list archives led me to these two threads:

Um, ok, thank you. Sorry that I didnt search on my own at first.
Was this package to small or why was it closed?
However, maybe there should be some kind of notice in the future, when a
package is suspended.
