Interesting that you should say that.
You have received a w ly notification (on Sundays) since March 2007.
Then on Mar 29, 2007 I sent you mail "Broken php.net mirror (Content
Negotiation weirdness)"
On Apr 29, 2007 "Weird problem with your php.net mirror" and then
again Jul 15, 2007 (same subject).
The final warning was sent Nov 13, 2007 "Disabled php.net mirrors
[Mirror status information]"
> WHY?
Because disabled mirrors are of no use to us and we had an offer for a
replacement mirror - and I don't like being ignored.

OK but I did not receive no one from these emails.
I do not ignore no one email.
I checked apache log files in the dates that you report and I saw that
mirror worked regularly.

Two of these where also sent to the mirror mailinglist (which you are
expected to be subscribed to):
http://news.php.net/php.mirrors/34976
http://news.php.net/php.mirrors/36434
Furthermore a w ly list of disabled mirrors is also sent to the
mirroring mailinglist.

I doubt you have been getting lots of hits because when the mirror is
disabled we do no redirect anyone to it.
The only hits you may have got are from people who explicitly type in
the full host - and for those people seemingly random pages did not
work so they would have had to change to another mirror.
