"Why PHP?" Google Group

| Hi,
Would it be possible to get a news item on www.php.net about the
initiative to create a vendor-neutral resource to help ISVs sell
PHP-based products?
We've setup a Google group [3] so that everyone who could benefit from
such a resource has the opportunity to get involved and make this
happen. At this stage, what we need is to hear from folks who sell
products written in PHP. What questions about the fact they're using
PHP do they get asked when trying to make the sale? What answers have
they found to work best?
We're not a general PHP advocacy group. We're strictly focused on
producing resouces to help ISVs overcome that "but your product is
written in PHP. Why PHP?" moment that unfortunately happens from time
to time when making a sale.

| Hi Stuart,
Given the current discussions around PHP.net usage for news, this is
pretty bad timing. Better postpone that a bit in any case.
That said, I'm ready to help that projet, given that AFUP and PHP Qu=E9bec=
already did that for their own community.
