Hello folks,

I was wondering if you could look tell me if the EULA and the Ebay title under which I purchased the software are in conflict with the "Open Source" definition or if by using php in their products name they have violated the open source definition.

Ebay auction URI: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...74950&rd=1&rd=1

Please note their use of "open source" near the bottom of the page.

The EULA URI: http://www.globalissa.com/docs/eula.php

Just wondering, hope I didn't bother you with something petty. I just fear, after making the mistake of NOT reading the EULA before I purchased it, they may have written some code into the product that may compromise the privacy of any potential customers
to my future business. It dawned on me that if they have written something into the program to track the IP address where the product is installed they may have written something into the product that also catches information put into it. Say. . . . .fro
m my customers, and their pay information.

Thank you for your time.

It appears as if the software is not open source itself, but makes use
of open source components.

Yep, I noticed it. Still, they point pretty clearly at an EULA which
doesn't describe open source software.
