The last sentence is correct this way:

...., so I always have to manually delete the string and type the new

Hi!

I would like you to add the ability in My.php.net to "forget" the last
search string I used at the top of any php.net page.

This is a usability problem: when I come back next time, I usually want
to look for another function's description, so I always have to manually
delete the string and type it again.
