Author any experience with running php.net without register_globals

Hi,

Theoretically php.net mirror sites should be possible to run without
register_globals=on, although we still require this setup. Maybe someone
can confirm that his mirrors runs all fine without register globals, so we
can update our instructions?

I've tested this locally for a while without any problems. I turned
register_globals=on yesterday as the docs told me it should be that way,
though :)

Hi,

So what should we do with this? Just change to register_globals=off and
see what happens?

I say go for it. Think many mirrors have register_globals=off already anyway.

no2.php.net is running with register_globals=off. Haven't experienced
any problems yet.
